Ethan Luck was my very first interview I ever had the joy of posting on this website. He was kind enough to take time from his busy life to help me start this little dream of mine. At that time he was busy on tour with Relient K as their drummer. Fast forward a couple years and this talented and epic human being has released his second solo EP called ‘HARD SEAS, which is so dang good it will make you wanna pour a glass of whisky , or a tall glass of iced sweet tea(if you’re not a drinker), and let loose on a saw dust covered dance floor.  ‘Hard Seas’ follows his first EP, ‘Wounds And Fears’ (which is so ridiculously amazing as well). Ethan openly speaks about the very things that inspired this EP on his webiste WWW.ETHANLUCK.COM which include his battle with anxiety and the love a good woman, his lovely wife, who in this own words, “has a gift for pulling me back into feeling human again.”  Musically this album is so amazing. All interments are all prepared and played by Ethan himself. There is a soulful country sound that makes you feel good inside, and that everything will somehow be ok, no matter what is going on in your life. Like Ethan, I relate to him in battling the demons called ANXIETY and when I listen to this record I feel somehow less broken. I want to personally thank him for that. So…in conclusion if you need a good ol little album to make you feel like life is worth living, or are in need of just another beautiful musical moment in you life, for the love of all that is GREAT please go check out Ethan’s record. I guarantee you won’t regret it.

You can hear ‘Hard Seas’ HERE and pay what you want for it. <3
