Hello! Hi! Howdy! Hey!
If you have followed this blog for a bit you will know that I have spend most of my time interviewing some amazingly talented people. (which I loved!) However in my heart of hearts I have always wanted to do something a little different.

I have had a story in my mind over the past 20 years or so that I have been working on. However I have never managed to make to to paper, or in this case here via the web! So I really want to focus on that this year! Over the years it has progressed into something that I always think about. Music has always had my heart and I never ever want to let that go. Actually music has inspired my writing so very much. With that said, if you stay connected you will see some amazing musical ties to a story that I am very excited to get out into the world. This particular story is a bit autobiographical. Since the 90’s I have experienced things and most importantly relationships that have shaped me into the person I am today. Some wonderful and some not so wonderful. I have combined those experiences, people and music to create characters that tell my story through a character named Millie.
I struggled with sharing this publicly because it’s based on real people.
But…then I read this….

Anne Lamott wrote that quote and I 1000% agree with it. Don’t get me wrong, Millie won’t be perfect herself. She makes mistakes along the way. That is what life is about. Making mistakes and learning from them. Millie’s story is one that many people live and may be afraid to share. Millie has some amazing experiences in her life, and for those she is thankful and will always cherish. Millie also has some dark moments where she was hurt as well. Mille’s story deserved to be told, and she knows she is not alone. There are many others that share similar stories themselves. It’s a life that was lived and I am here to write about it. I don’t want to go to much into detail, because next week you will meet Millie herself in the official first post of this story which begins in the 90’s. (The best decade ever…duh) Each post will be like mini-chapters that will continue as I tell the story. I hope that you join me on this journey and fall in love with the characters just like I have. <3
